Barcelona’s perfect record in La Liga was brought to an end on Sunday night when they were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Girona.

Clement Lenglet was sent off in the first half following a VAR review and Lionel Messi for one was enraged by the decision.

At the end of the match, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner refused to shake hands with referee Jesus Gil Manzano.

Messi walked over to the official who had extended his hand but snubbed the gesture and headed straight down towards the changing rooms instead, according to Marca.
