New Monaco boss Thierry Henry said he hopes to emulate Pep Guardiola as a manager, and his mentor believes the Frenchman will do just fine in the next phase of his career.

Guardiola gave his former player at Barcelona his blessing and stated that Henry will thrive on the touchline.

“Right now Monaco is not in a good position, but I think he’s going to do it well,” Guardiola said.
