CRISTIANO RONALDO (Real Madrid) – 8.73

Cristiano Ronaldo hit yet another hat-trick for Real Madrid who swept aside Espanyol 6-0 in a ruthless attacking display. The Portuguese showcased all his skills with one penalty, a headed goal and a 20-yard screamer. Enough said.

JAMES RODRIGUEZ (Real Madrid) – 7.68

Colombian James answered his critics in emphatic fashion this week. The midfielder filled in for the injured Gareth Bale in Real’s front three and Espanyol were ripped apart with James providing the cross for Karim Benzema’s goal before getting on the scoresheet himself.

KARIM BENZEMA (Real Madrid) – 7.56

Red-hot striker Karim Benzema opened the scoring by heading home in the seventh minute and provided a target for his midfielders to find with constant probing runs. The Frenchman did waste a couple of chances infront of goal but continues to be a vital cog in Los Blancos’ wheel.

YANNICK FERRERIA (Atletico Madrid) – 7.52

Athletico may have lost 2-1 to Barcelona but they may feel they should have had more after taking an early lead. Still a relative newcomer to Athletico, Yannick Ferreira could be their next big star after he combined with star player Antoine Griezmann, targeting players and chasing them down relentlessly.

KEVIN GAMEIRO (Sevilla) – 7.48

Kevin Gameiro played a starring role as Sevilla climbed to fifth in La Liga following a 3-1 win over bottom club Levante. Los Blanquirrojos were coasting from the off thanks to a goal from the French winger, who then set up Vicente Iborra early in the second-half.
