WATCH Dutch boss Ronald Koeman almost applauded Belgium’s goal

It was a high quality international friendly in Brussels, Belgium on Tuesday night as the host nation took on the high-flying Netherlands.

The first goal, scored just after five minutes by Belgium striker Dries Mertens, was top draw. So good in fact that Dutch boss Ronald Koeman had to stop himself applauding.

Koeman had reason to celebrate soon after as midfielder Arnaut Groeneveld evened it up for the visitors on 27 minutes. The match ended with that scoreline 1-1.
