Three-time Brazilian World Cup winner Pele, widely considered as one of the greatest players of all time, is on his way to Dubai.

The 77-year-old, who was taken ill in January with severe exhaustion, posted the tweet on Saturday evening UAE time onboard an Emirates A380 flight in the first-class section.

Interestingly, the footballing hero first visited the UAE back in 1973 when Santos clashed with Al Nasr and he last visited Dubai back in January 2014.

The details of his full visit are unclear but it is expected he will undertake commercial and sponsorship-led commitments as an ambassador for Emirates.
