Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Jadon Sancho created a record with his goal against Hoffenheim on Saturday after he became the youngest player in Bundesliga history to score eight top-flight goals.

Lucien Favre’s men were unable to snatch all three points after Hoffenheim managed to overcome a three-goal deficit and ultimately steal a point.

But Sancho notched his superb record with his 32nd minute strike. The young Englishman now has seven goals in the Bundesliga and one goal in the Champions League this season.

Sancho has been a vital cog in Dortmund’s bid to win the league this season and wrestle the title from German titans Bayern Munich. And he established himself as a starter after a few good performances as a substitute.

The 18-year-old has scored goals against Nurnberg, Stuttgart, Schalke, Borussia Monchengladback, Hoffenheim and a brace against Hertha Berlin. He also scored against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.

The youngster will be looking to keep up the good work and help Dortmund win the Bundesliga and achieve a deep run in Europe.
