Real Madrid could lose out on the services of Vinicius Junior if he does not see more first team action before the end of 2018, reports Marca.

The 18-year-old has been frustrated to have been relegated to Madrid’s B team, where he scored two goals against Atletico Madrid B last week, and is considering returning to his homeland in search of more game time.

The former Flamengo frontman had an agreement where if he came over this summer, he could return to Brazil for the spring if he was not happy at the Bernabeu.

If a return to his native Rio de Janeiro was to happen, it guarantees Vinicius regular football at Flamengo before coming back to Madrid for pre-season next summer.

For manager Julen Lopetegui, his number one priority is the first team and winning as many game as possible, but the club is also looking at ways to keep Vinicius and other peripheral players happy.
