Neymar’s PSG team-mates are said to be unhappy with the privileges afforded to the world-record signing.

Reportedly, according to Le Parisien players are not allowed to put strong tackles in on the Brazilian in training, while Neymar is given two dedicated personal physiotherapists and is allowed to be exempt from defensive duties in matches.

Neymar is also allowed to carry his own branded bag with his preferred sponsor’s logo, unlike the rest of the PSG players, who are subject to a mandate to carry only bags with the team logo on it.

Then there is the penalty dispute with Edinson Cavani, which came to a head last month after the Uruguayan refused to hand over penalty duties to his more illustrious team-mate during a 2-0 win over Lyon.

For now, the solution to that has been for penalties to be split between the two players, but it is rumoured from next season Neymar will be named the team’s penalty taker.
