Marcus Rashford gave Van Gaal’s men the lead in this quarter-final replay after 54 minutes with a magnificent finish before Marouane Fellaini scored another to put the game out of West Ham’s reach.
After the game the Dutchman heaped praise on his side and their desire to win silverware this season.
