Monaco’s Vagner Love was bizarrely given a yellow card for a stuttering approach to his penalty kick in his team’s 2-1 home defeat to Bordeaux in Ligue 1 on Friday night.

The Brazilian tried to outfox the opposition goalkeeper with a slow run-up but actually missed the penalty, before netting the rebound.

However, the goal was disallowed and Love received his booking!
