Arsene Wenger: Theo Walcott should play for England at Euro 2016

Roy Hodgson names his England squad for France on Monday, and Arsene Wenger believes that Theo Walcott should be among that group.

If the England coach was to name Walcott it would be a surprise inclusion, given that the winger has not started a Premier League game since February’s defeat at Manchester United.

“He had a difficult period,” admitted Wenger. “But in the last month he has come back strongly and worked very hard in training. He could be a positive surprise for England.”
