Two weeks into the new Fantasy Premier League this season and Everton have emerged as one of the most intriguing teams in the game.

With a fine run of fixtures ahead, Carlo Ancelotti’s side has been vastly improved by a few key signings that’s also lifted some of their best players from last season.

There’s also the added incentive of being able to avail of these options at fair prices.

So here’s a look at some of the most attractive FPL assets the Toffees have to offer…

LUCAS DIGNE

Lucas Digne is a premium defender but his advanced positioning and wand of a left foot justify his price tag. At 6.1m, the left-back doesn’t come cheap but his desire to get forward puts his average position level with James Rodriguez on the opposite flank.

The Colombian has encroached on his set-piece duties but he continues to take a large chunk of them, bagging an assist from one in the opening weekend. His excellent delivery also increases his attacking potential and his 13 crosses so far is the second highest in the league.

Against West Brom in GW2, he even took a free-kick ahead of Rodriguez and hit the woodwork with a sumptuous effort.

JAMES RODRIGUEZ

With an expected xGI [Goal Involvement] of 0.51 per 90 minutes, Rodriguez is a worthy pick and is only going to become more influential for Everton as he settles in at the Merseyside outfit.

He shares set-piece duties with Digne and is proving to be a creative hub in the final third with only Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah [12.0m] registering more than his seven key passes.

The former Real Madrid star is definitely the Everton midfielder to own with his capacity to produce moments of individual brilliance. His arrival along with those of Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure has relegated Gylfi Sigurdsson to the bench so he may even claim the penalty responsibilities from the Iceland international.

DOMINIC CALVERT-LEWIN

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is quickly becoming a must-have in FPL having bagged four goals in the first two games of the season. Of course, he’s not going to score a hat-trick every week like he did against the Baggies in GW2 but his role in the team promises consistency.

While Richarlison roams the final third and gets involved in the team’s build-up play, DCL remains in the box where his goal-poaching skills come to the fore. Ancelotti is a big fan of the English striker who is benefiting from a new level of service on offer.

His 2.54 xG [Expected Goals] is the highest in the league and so is his shot accuracy at 71.43 per cent.
