Mesut Ozil missed Arsenal‘s Premier League trip to Fulham with a back spasm as the Gunners went in search of a ninth consecutive victory in all competitions.

The forward missed out completely while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Aaron Ramsey returned to the bench as head coach Unai Emery made six alterations from Thursday’s Europa League win against Qarabag.

Bernd Leno made his full Premier League debut in goal as Hector Bellerin, Shkodran Mustafi, Lucas Torreira, Granit Xhaka, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alexandre Lacazette all returned.

The hosts made two enforced changes of their own as injured defensive duo Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Joe Bryan were replaced by Cyrus Christie and Ryan Sessegnon.
