Yerry Minaā€™s Everton debut faces a further delay after he suffered a foot injury in training.

The Colombian defender is yet to start for his new club since joining from Barcelona in the summer, but fears that he had suffered a new metatarsal break have been allayed by Toffees boss Marco Silva.

The Portuguese has, however, ruled him out for the visit of Fulham on Saturday.

ā€œTwo days ago he suffered a stamp on his foot in a moment with Bernard,ā€ Silva said at his Friday press conference.

ā€œIt was painful in that moment. He stopped (training) yesterday and today. We hope next week he will start to work with the team. It is nothing serious.ā€
