MOURA MOTORING FORWARD
The sight of Lucas Moura bursting past him will haunt Chris Smalling for some time to come. The Brazilian was electric in Tottenham’s 3-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford last month and can cause Liverpool problems as well.
A winger by trade, Moura has featured alongside Harry Kane in attack to great effect. The speed demon has actually been the furthest player forward for Spurs with the England skipper often dropping off, taking a defender with him, and allowing Moura to dart in behind.
Liverpool’s high-line should offer plenty of openings for the 26-year-old, especially with one of the full-backs usually adopting an advanced position.

DIER’S DEEP ROLE
The threat that Liverpool trio Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane possess is well-documented. That attacking triumvirate should keep Tottenham’s three-man central defence occupied.
However, the Reds have generated an added threat from midfield this season with the energetic Naby Keita enhancing operations in that department. Eric Dier will therefore need to be on his toes and support the back-line by perhaps taking up a deeper position.
He will have to be alert to Firmino’s tendency to drop off and receive the ball between the lines while also tracking runners from midfield, with Keita particularly looking dangerous in that regard.
