Mesut Ozil‘s international retirement will hurt Germany, but it could also help Arsenal, according to former Gunner Ray Parlour.

The 45-year-old, who began his career with Arsenal, said the club will benefit by being able to work more with Ozil when international duty hits.

“Well obviously it does benefit (Arsenal) because, you know, when there’s international duties and players go away for long periods of time, you know you can do a little bit more work with him back in England when it’s international breaks,” Parlour said.
