Arsene Wenger’s final trip to Old Trafford as Arsenal manager ended with yet another defeat to Jose Mourinho as Manchester United secured all three points with a 2-1 victory on Sunday.

In their 18 clashes, Mourinho has ran out a winner on nine occasions, losing only twice with seven other fixtures ending as a draw.

While the latest installment missed the tense contextual element of some of their previous classical encounters, there is hope the two rivals will lock horns again in the future.

The Frenchman has spent most of his 22 years as a rival, irritant and adversary to the Red Devils but was afforded plenty of respect as he led the Gunners against them one last time before vacating the dugout.

Watch the 68-year-old talk about his battles with his Portuguese adversary in the clip below.
