Mohamed Salah has a reputation for making generous gestures and paying for part of a child’s bone marrow transplant is his latest good deed.

According to kingfut.com, the Liverpool star has now come to the aid of Abdelrahman Mahmoud, from the city of Tanta in Egypt, who suffers from cancer.

Mahmoud is being treated at the 57357 Children Hospital.

His father tried to find someone to connect him with Egyptian football stars and Al Ahly club players to pay Mahmoud a visit and found a line of communication to Salah.

“We’ve reached someone who lives in a town close to the player’s (Salah’s) village and then managed to talk to his father who told him about my son’s case,” the child’s father told DMC Sport channel.

“He contacted us and talked to Abdelrahman on the phone since he is not in Egypt now and told him that he will be visiting him once he’s back.”

The Eyptian international has graciously agreed to contribute to the fees for the child’s bone marrow transplant surgery.

“Salah is in regular contact with Abdelrahman, his support had a positive effect on the child’s health,” he added.
