A late equaliser from Willian rescued a point for Chelsea at Anfield after Mohamed Salah opened the scoring for Liverpool.

The hosts looked set for three points after the Egyptian buried his 10th Premier League of the campaign but were pegged back in the 85th minute.

Here, we rate the Chelsea players.

CHELSEA

THIBAUT COURTOIS: Surprisingly shaky on the night. Fumbled a tame ball behind for a corner early in the second half. Should’ve been tested more. 5

CESAR AZPILICUETA: Stretched to make a crucial block to deny Salah a second in the 82st minute. Kept Daniel Sturridge quiet. 6

GARY CAHILL: Marshaled the defence and was solid. Won his 50-50s and made some big clearances. 7

ANDREAS CHRISTENSEN: Composed with the ball at his feet, held his own against some threatening Liverpool attackers. 7

DAVIDE ZAPPACOSTA: Whipped in some dangerous crosses. Did well to bomb forward but was in and out of the game. 6

DANNY DRINKWATER: Industrious effort in the middle of the part and made a good run when Hazard played him through on goal. 7

N’GOLO KANTE: Made four tackles in the game and stopped several Liverpool attacks. Covered plenty of ground as usual. 7

TIEMOUE BAKAYOKO: Began the game well enough but had to shuttle wide to contain Salah on occasion and was left in his wake. His loose touch led to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlian poking the ball through for the Egyptian to score the opener. 5

MARCOS ALONSO: Had one good effort from a free-kick and looked good in the opposition’s half but was pushed to his limit by Salah. 6

EDEN HAZARD: Was excellent throughout, skipping past defenders with ease and creating chances. Man of the Match despite Salah’s efforts. 8

ALVARO MORATA: Did see too many chances come his way but still looked sharp and ran the channels. 6
