Manchester City have come a long way since the club was taken over by Abu Dhabi based owners in 2008.

While Roman Abramovich’s purchase of Chelsea FC in 2003 introduced English football to a new generation of billionaires, the 2008 purchase of Man City by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al Nahyan introduced the game to its first family of trillionaires.

Since his takeover, Man City have won two Premier League titles and are now regulars in the UEFA Champions League.

This video (below) from uMAXit Football tells the story of how Sheikh Mansour has transformed the club into one of the biggest in world football.

Do you think Manchester City can win the Premier League title this season, under Pep Guardiola?
