With the international break done and dusted, it’s time to look ahead at Gameweek Four of Fantasy Premier League.

The transfer window is shut as well and a few new faces have entered the game since the previous Gameweek.

With plenty of wildcards just waiting to be played out there, here’s a look at some of those new signings to consider drafting in when you make your changes.

DAVIDE ZAPPACOSTA | CHELSEA | 6M

Chelsea left it pretty late in the transfer window to bring in Zappacosta from Torino and it’s fair to say he probably wasn’t their first choice full-back target after Antonio Conte spent most of the summer courting Juventus’ Alex Sandro while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain turned down the Blues for Liverpool.

The right-back has a reputation for getting up the pitch and delivering crosses into the box. He delivered 1.7 crosses per game in Serie A last season, only Faouzi Ghoulam (1.8) and Manuel Pasqual (2) managed more among defenders.

He will offer good competition for Victor Moses for that right wing-back role and will only get forward more in Chelsea’s system. He registered five assists last season but it’s difficult to move on him just yet while his place in the first XI isn’t certain.

SERGE AURIER | TOTTENHAM | 6M

Serge Aurier is easily one of the most talented full-backs in Europe but his poor attitude at Paris Saint-Germain saw his stock drop but while other clubs were deterred by that, Tottenham swooped in and snapped him up for a relatively low fee.

At 6m, he’s on the higher end in FPL, but he has the potential to emulate Marcos Alonso in terms of his influence in the final third at least.

He looks set to beat Kevin Trippier to be Spurs’ first-choice right wing-back, as long as Mauricio Pochettino keeps him in line. Ben Davies (5.6m) is the more reliable option at the moment but even his position will be under threat when Danny Rose (6.4m) returns to the fold.

RENATO SANCHES | SWANSEA CITY | 5M

Bayern Munich’s Renato Sanches was linked to a loan move to Chelsea and Liverpool but ended up at Swansea City instead. The Portguese was one of the hottest prospects in Europe a little over a year ago when he was starred in the Euro 2016 winning side.

The 20-year-old is an energetic and dynamic midfielder who can shuttle from box to box. While he may still be searching for consistency with his final product, he’s bound to deliver the odd goal or assist.

At 5m, he could prove to be a bargain if he hits the ground running.

GRZEGORZ KRYCHOWIAK | WEST BROM | 5M

The Poland international’s last season at Paris Saint-Germain was plagued by injury while he struggled for playing time even when fit.

The 27-year-old is a defensive midfielder and is not renowned for goals or assists. There’s little he could provide in terms of FPL points for that reason.

Aaron Mooy or Ruben Loftus-Cheek (when fit) represent far better value in the same price bracket.

WILFRIED BONY | SWANSEA CITY | 6M

Wilfried Bony returns to Swansea where he enjoyed a successful spell in front of goal and he will need him to step up after losing Fernando Llorente to Tottenham.

It will be interesting to see if Bony can regain his mojo and start scoring on a regular basis especially since there does appear to be a dearth of good strikers in that 6m price range.

You need to go to 7m for Javier Hernandez and Manolo Gabbiadini or even 7.5m for Wayne Rooney. Tammy Abraham at 5.5m was a good option but Bony’s arrival is bound to see him get less opportunities inside the box as the 28-year-old will dominate service in that space.
