Last season, Tottenham finally broke the St. Totteringham’s Day hoodoo by finishing above Arsenal in the Premier League.

Despite being considered one of the best sides in the league over the last three seasons on the whole, they’ve not only failed to win the title but also couldn’t finish above their cross-town rivals until last term.

Having finally done so, they surely won’t want to relinquish this newfound supremacy.

Spurs have challenged for the title and come rather close in the last two seasons and will want to push on and take advantage of their best period in the Premier League era.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have splashed the cash on Sead Kolasinac and record-signing Alexandre Lacazette while still pursuing the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Thomas Lemar. All of that, despite failing to secure Champions League football.
