When you think assists in the Premier League, you think Mesut Ozil, but the Arsenal man has been well below par this season, tied in 14th place with 10 other players.

His six assists in the campaign so far has been a poor return while Manchester City’s consistent performer Kevin De Bruyne leads the way with 13.

Gylfi Sigurdsson has done remarkably well to provide 12 assists at Swansea City but the big surprise is Cesc Fabregas.

The Spaniard hasn’t played as much as he would’ve liked given the partnership between N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic but has been one of the best creative players with nine assists.

uMAXit Football has put together some great numbers* in this video on their YouTube channel to decipher who has been the league’s best playmaker.

Who do you think is the best playmaker in the Premier League?
