When N’Golo Kante left Premier League champions Leicester City for Chelsea, the reigning champions’ fans knew the hole he would leave.

Known as the man who has covered every inch of the earth and tackled every person he has come across o nhis travels, Kante was a revelation at Leicester.

Since then, he has been just as good for Chelsea, if not better, and now Kante is on course to become the first player since Eric Cantona to win successive Premier League titles with different teams.

He is, quite simply a monster.

But, as this stat from our friends at WhoScored.com shows, Kante’s replacement at Leicester is proving a more than capable heir to the throne.

As it shows, only Kante (48) has made more tackles than his Leicester replacement Wilfred Ndidi, who has 40 Premier League tackles to his name.
