In a playing career that spanned over two decades, Ryan Giggs rubbed shoulders with some of the finest players to pull on a Manchester United shirt.

The Welshman recently revealed to Goal.com his best XI from the time he spent at the club.

While the obvious front runners like Cristiano Ronaldo and Paul Scholes made the grade, there are a few striking exclusions as well.

Giggs omitted the legendary Eric Cantona from his side, choosing instead to go with a front pairing of Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney.
