We have asked two UAE-based supporters to give their verdict on the standout Premier League fixture of the weekend, as well as providing you with details of where you can watch the game in the UAE.

Will Antonio Conte’s men continue their march to the league title?

Or will Jurgen Klopp’s side finally put a dreadful January behind them?

Out of two cups in four days. Is the league title still attainable or will top four remain the objective?

It has been a very difficult week to be a Liverpool fan. Devastated to be out of two cups, we are 10 points behind the league leaders and I have to say that with our recent poor form, we cannot hope for a league title this year. Well, unless Chelsea adopt our run of misfortune!

How big a miss was Sadio Mane this month and how crucial will he be to reviving your season?

Mane was a huge loss and it seems the knock-on effect was much more severe than anyone anticipated. Our players seem to have lost their way and our style has somewhat regressed. Mane will be key to the re-invigoration of our side and will hopefully ignite a comeback in form at this crucial time.

How much is riding on this game in terms of how the rest of the season plays out?

We must beat Chelsea to cement our intent on remaining in the top four and fighting for Champion’s League football. Although we are only two points behind second place, it is the psychological impact which is important at this stage. There is a lot riding on this game not just in terms of points but in our confidence and belief. Hopefully this will be the start of a run of wins and a big gain in momentum.

PLAYER TO WATCH

I hope this is the game where Philippe Coutinho shows his absolute magical best. There will be no doubt that adrenaline will be high and the game will be charged with lots of energy. We need a moment of composure and I hope Coutinho will provide that to give Liverpool fans the lift they need.

PREDICTION

Liverpool 2-1 Chelsea

THREE BURNING QUESTIONS

Liverpool are in a bad state at the moment but have been something of a bogey-team for Chelsea over the years. Are you wary of that or expect to dominate?

As ever, being a Chelsea fan, we never expect anything. If anything, experience has taught me to expect the unexpected with Chelsea. That said, I expect a tight game with Liverpool looking to try and bounce back from their recent woes. The return of Mane should see them strengthened going forward. Matip could do the same at the back.

Six clean sheets in the last eight, including three 1-0 wins. Surely, title winning form?

You would like to think so. If we come through the next two games without conceding, a certain lady may consider clearing her throat. That said, we have not been rampant of late, and had a shade of luck at times.

Liverpool’s expansive football leaves them vulnerable on the break. Are Chelsea perfectly set up to take advantage of that?

Chelsea are set up for the counter. Conte likes his teams to be able to break quickly. Eden Hazard, Diego Costa, Willian and Pedro all have pace and can hurt any defence low on numbers. I am not sure Klopp will allow Liverpool to be taken apart like Jose’s United were, after all this is at Anfield, and that was at Stamford Bridge.

PLAYER TO WATCH

Chelsea player to watch must be Eden hazard. He is often the difference in tight games, and having been quiet of late I would expect him to rise to the occasion.

PREDICTION

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

WHERE TO WATCH: The Chelsea UAE Fan Club will be watching the game at McGettigans at Madinat Jumeirah. If you drop in come and say hello!
