The fixtures are coming thick and fast during the festive period and Fantasy Premier League managers are having to act fast to keep up.

Below are three players who could score big on Boxing Day and also a look at why you should captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

But first, a shout out to these tactical geniuses who top our Sport360 fans league going into this week!

WHO TO PICK AS CAPTAIN

Zlatan Ibrahimovic [11.3m] has been the Premier League’s most threatening striker throughout the season and has started to deliver of late.

Following a goal drought, the Swede has scored seven in his last seven games, displaying the kind of consistency we expect from him.

He keeps getting and creating chances and looks set to shift gears. Ibrahimovic is one of the players destined for a massive Gameweek soon and it could well come in this round.

Facing Sunderland at home, Manchester United will be looking to run riot and spread a little Christmas cheers among their fans and if they do, you can bet that Ibrahimovic will be in the thick of things.

Sadio Mane is also one to consider following his late winner for Liverpool in the Merseyside Derby. They entertain Stoke City on Tuesday.

THREE MORE BIG-HITTERS

The United striker isn’t the only one who could score big on Boxing Day.

Here are three more options to look into.

ALEXIS SANCHEZ [ARSENAL – 11.9m]

The game’s highest scoring player leads the way. In his last five games the Sanchez has scored six goals and assisted three.

Arsenal welcome West Brom who, despite being led by Tony Pulis, have had a leaky defence this season. They’ve kept just four clean sheets all season and only one in their last 14.

Having lost their last two games, Arsene Wenger will be desperate to register a win back at the Emirates Stadium.

EDEN HAZARD [CHELSEA – 10.4m]

Hazard has gone a bit quite in recent weeks. In the last six weeks, he’s only delivered one goal against Manchester City, a run during which he missed the Sunderland game as well.

He’s certainly due a good week and Bournemouth’s arrival at Stamford Bridge presents the perfect opportunity.

KEVIN DE BRUYNE [MANCHESTER CITY – 10.7m]

Manchester City play away from home on Boxing Day but it’s to rock-bottom side Hull City. The Tigers have the second worst defence in the league and have managed just one win since the second week.

Meanwhile, De Bruyne leads the assists charts with nine and seems to deliver regardless of what the situation is up front.

Producing returns in five of the last seven weeks, he’s one of the most consistent performers in the game.
