While Manchester United have been struggling to match their high standards of the past in recent years, former centre-back Rio Ferdinand still remembers the golden days.

And beside the countless trophies, one of those moments was the prank former team-mates Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo pulled on the great Sir Alex Ferguson.

Ferdinand recalls in the video uploaded by Copa90 below, how Rooney used to roll the ball to Ferguson who, as soon as he tried to kick it back, would find his leg caught by Ronaldo hiding under the table.

According to the former England centre-back, Ronaldo was always involved in jokes and pranks that the team played on in the training ground.

Oh, to have been a fly on the wall of that United dressing room.
