Former Inter Milan and Manchester City man Balotelli ended his Anfield nightmare on transfer deadline day and was heavily criticised by a host of ex-Reds, with Carragher making the most prominent comment on social media.

But now, Balotelli has had his say back.

On Saturday, he described the Kop legend as a ‘bad player, wonderful hater’, tweeting:
