Andy Carroll’s hat-trick dealt another blow to Arsenal’s already slim Premier League title hopes, despite the Gunners fighting back to draw at West Ham.

The burly striker netted twice in 160 seconds to bring his side level by half-time before a far-post header completed the treble.

“He’s amazing when he trains regularly,” Bilic told reporters. “He loves to train and he is never lazy.

“His problem is his inconsistency caused by injury. He is big and he needs to be fit. Now he is fit.”
