Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will forever be linked, even if they no longer battle in the same league.

The debate over which player is better will rage on, seemingly until the end of time, but at his unveiling for Juventus on Monday, Ronaldo said he doesn’t see the relationship as a rivalry because he doesn’t “see players as rivals”.

“Everybody speaks about my rivalry with Messi, but we just try to win each match,” Ronaldo said.
