Niko Kovac revealed no action would be taken against two Bayern Munich players following their “scuffle” in training.

German newspaper Bild reported on Thursday that Kingsley Coman and Robert Lewandowski had a fist fight at a training session.

Kovac said both players apologised for the incident and neither would be fined.

Quoted by the club’s official Twitter account, Kovac told a press conference: “Two players got into a scuffle. We had a conversation as a three, in which both players apologised for their behaviour.

“They are very sorry for what happened. No-one is being fined because both players were understanding, and being understanding is very important. The matter is done and dusted now.”
