Bayern Munich are prepared to spend big in order to win the chases for Lille winger Nicolas Pepe and Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong, according to reports.

The Bundesliga champions are in disarray at present, a 3-0 home hammering by Borussia Monchengladbach last weekend making it four matches without a win in all competitions.

Sport Bild say that in order to refresh the squad, they’ve turned their attentions to two of Europe’s most-coveted players.

Ivory Coast winger Pepe, 23, has six goals and four assists in nine Ligue 1 matches this term. Manchester United and Arsenal have been strong linked to his signature.

New Netherlands cap De Jong, 21, has been repeatedly talked about as being of interest to Barcelona, Manchester City, United and Paris Saint-Germain.
