One of the hottest prospects in the world, Matthijs de Ligt finds his name linked to a top European club every other day.

Although Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City are some of the European giants who are after his signature, Barcelona are seen as favourites to acquire his services.

The Dutchman has not shied away from admitting that he wants to play for the Blaugrana someday.

However, he did admit his future is not something that is on his mind right now. De Ligt, 19, wants to focus on playing for Ajax and the Dutch national team and is not much concerned about where he will end up in the summer.

“I play my game, focus on football and we’ll see where I end up,” the Dutchman said in an interview with Esporte Interativo, according to Marca. “It is not something that worries me.”

“I am currently playing for Ajax and the national team, so that is what I’m focussing on. I’m gaining experience and I like it.”
