Barcelona’s record signing Philippe Coutinho has refused to rule out a sensational exit from the club having struggled for form this season.

The Brazilian, who was signed for €142 million back in January 2018, was on the scoresheet for the first time in nine outings during Barcelona’s routine 5-1 victory over Lyon in midweek.

It was just his ninth goal of the campaign across all competitions and while the 26-year-old admits his performances have been well below par, he also cast doubt over his future at the Camp Nou with Manchester United reportedly interested in the forward.

“In the last few weeks, months even, I’ve not been playing well but I still want to improve,” he said (h/t Goal.com).

”I came to Barcelona to give my best. I live for the moment. You never know what the future holds. I am happy with my performance today.”
