Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta admitted that he is considering taking up a coaching role in the future.

Although his long-time partner in the Barca midfield, Xavi, has always been vocal about his motive to take up a coaching career, Iniesta has always stayed clear of this lane.

But now the World Cup winner believes that it could be an option for the future.

“Before, I didn’t see myself as one,” confessed the Vissel Kobe player, according to Marca.

“But now I think it is an option for the future.”

Any disturbance caused by the change in lifestyle after moving from Spain to Japan is non-existent now that the midfielder has settled in.

“I’m more settled now,” he said.

“In everyday life and on an athletic level. Change always brings stress. At a football level you have another club, new teammates, a new type of pitch, new stadiums and other kinds of rivals and it all plays a part.”
