Barcelona remain on track for a fifth successive Copa del Rey title after overcoming Real Madrid 3-0 in the semi-final second leg at the Bernabeu.

Luis Suarez stole the headlines with two goals as his team romped home, but there were also some bright performances in the Real ranks despite the defeat.

Check out the Barca player ratings here.

BARCELONA 4-4-2

Ter Stegen 8. Made good stops from Vinicius and Benzema in the first half and an even better save to keep out Reguilon’s header.

Semedo 6. Tasked with shackling Vinicius and sometimes struggled but stuck to his task. Released Dembele in build-up to the second.

Pique 8. Dangerously conceded possession to gift a chance to Benzema, but was otherwise outstanding and authoritative.

Lenglet 7. Dogged and determined in the centre of defence, showing he deserves to retain his place in the team.

Alba 8. Outstanding in defence and attack, playing a key role in the crucial opener and never stopped running all night.

Jordi Alba

Roberto 6. Selected in midfield to help keep Vinicius in check and gave a steady performance, covering every blade of grass.

Busquets 7. Occasionally dithered dangerously in possession, but he was excellent defensively in protecting his back four.

Rakitic 7. Read the game well, doing more than anyone to give his team control in midfield and shutting down Modric and Kross.

Messi 5. Strangely quiet, offering little other than sporadic threat and having no involvement in the three goals.

Suarez 8. Quiet in the first half but pounced perfectly shortly after the break, then forced the second goal and converted a penalty.

Dembele 8. Always a threat and although he was sometimes sloppy in possession, he delivered great assists for the first two goals.

SUBSTITUTES

Coutinho 6. Came on for Dembele after the second goal and helped Barca keep control with sensible passing.

Vidal 6. Replaced Suarez during the latter stages and proceeded to charge around in his usual fashion.

Arthur 6. Made Barca’s night by returning from injury for the latter stages, enjoying a quiet comeback.
