Barcelona left-back Jordi Alba has declared there has “never been bad vibes” towards Ousmane Dembele within the dressing room, despite the youngster’s suspect behaviour.

Dembele, 21, has endured several disciplinary issues since August 2017’s £135.5 million switch from Borussia Dortmund related to timekeeping and professionalism. The latest came last Sunday when he was two hours late for training, in the aftermath of a sensational display in the 4-0 derby mauling of Espanyol.

“Inside the dressing room, there’s never been bad vibes towards, in this case, Dembele,” said 29-year-old Alba, according to SPORT.

France winger Dembele has scored six goals and assisted three more in 14 La Liga displays this term.
