Barcelona hope to cash-in on Rafinha’s recent strong displays in the enforced absence of Lionel Messi and have made him available for transfer, according to reports.

Rafinha, 25, enjoyed a rare run of starts in the wake of the Argentina superstar’s fractured arm on October 20. This, the La Liga champion hope, has put him in the shopping window.

Mundo Deportivo have stated that links to Roma have grown in strength and a €35 million+ fee could be generated. The Brazil midfielder excelled on loan at Inter Milan last season, but the Serie A side could not afford to pay for his permanent acquisition.

Rafinha has scored 12 times in 86 first-team run-outs for Barcelona.
