PSG interest could see Ousmane Dembele sold by Barcelona before transfer deadline

Paris Saint-Germain’s ‘repeated’ interest in Ousmane Dembele means Barcelona could consider selling the French winger before the end of August.

Barca are reportedly ready to consider selling Dembele to PSG or any other club if the right offer comes in.

The transfer window for Premier League clubs is now closed, but other European teams can still buy and sell players until August 31.

PSG are ‘repeatedly’ pushing the France international’s agent over a possible move to the Parc des Princes, according to Mundo Deportivo, who claim Barca would not necessarily rule out a sale at this time.

Dembele is described in the report as being a firm favourite of new PSG manager Thomas Tuchel, who managed the player when they were together at Borussia Dortmund.

It was in Germany that Dembele established himself as one of the biggest young prospects in the world, earning himself a €105 million move to Barca last summer.

Things haven’t quite worked out for the 21-year-old in La Liga, however, with a combination of injuries and poor form affecting his first season with the club.
