Barcelona are closing in on the signing of Arturo Vidal after reportedly agreeing a fee with Bayern Munich.

According to Spanish publication Sport, a fee of around €30m (£26.7m) has been agreed between the German and Spanish giants and the Chilean has also reached a verbal agreement with Barca.

Vidal, 31, has been linked with a move to Manchester United and Chelsea in recent months but both clubs looks set to miss out on his signature.

The Blaugrana have already completed three transfers this summer – Malcom, Clement Lenglet and Arthur – but Ernesto Valverde is keen to recruit more.

And their fourth signing through the door looks like it could be veteran midfielder Vidal.
