Rafinha has admitted that he would love to see brother Thiago Alcantara return to Barcelona from Bayern Munich, although he doesn’t know where his own future lies.

According to reports, the Spanish giants are still looking for a central midfielder, after having made three signings so far.

While PSG star Adrien Rabiot is a top target, Thiago too has been linked to his former club.

“I would like to see Thiago at Barcelona again,” Rafinha revealed in a news conference prior to the pre-season game against Roma in the International Champions Cup.

“I think he would fit in perfectly with the team’s style of play.”

However, there is a possiblity Rafinha might not be a part of the squad if Thiago does return from Germany.

After having returning from a loan spell at Inter Milan, the 25-year old has been linked to Tottenham, Lazio and a few other clubs.

“Honestly, if I knew my future, I would tell you,” he said to repeated questions about where he will be when the transfer market closes next month.

“A lot of teams have been linked with me, that’s true, but I’m not thinking about these things. It’s not to do with me, other people are working on it.”

When asked if wants to stay at Barca, Rafinha said: “All players want to play football. They want to be where they can play the most minutes. It’s the same for me – whether that’s here or somewhere else.”
