Andres Iniesta has named Louis Van Gaal as his most important manager at Barcelona.

The Spanish legend will leave the Nou Camp this summer after more than two decades since coming through their ranks.

Speaking to Mundo Deportivo, he described Van Gaal as “his most important manager”, who gave him his professional debut way back in 2002.

On Pep Guardiola, he labelled the former Barcelona player and coach as a ‘master for me’, while he believed Frank Rijkaard, who masterminded the 2006 Champions League title success as his “ideal coach for that period of my life.”

Tito Vilanova was an “exceptional manager and person,” while Luis Enrique was “a friend” and Ernesto Valverde as “wise”.
