Compliments have been pouring in for Barcelona captain Andres Iniesta ever since the news of his departure to China was let out for the first time.

Among the latest to heap praises on the veteran midfielder is Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal who had very kind words to say about the Barca legend before the Barcelona Open.

Nadal said: “He has done everything he had to do and more.

“Iniesta has brought us joy, he’s helped us be happy, enjoy ourselves and he has always behaved with respect, naturalness and normality, which is the most important thing.”

“It’s a pity we can’t enjoy him more if he’s going. But if that’s his decision then he has all my support and I hope that he’s happy in his new era,” the 16-time Grand Slam champion added.

Iniesta starred in Barcelona’s epic 5-0 victory over Sevilla in the Copa del Rey final and is expected to announce his move to China in the coming week.
