Barcelona are hopeful they can push through a deal for Borussia Dortmund talent Ousmane Dembele after the 20-year-old was photographed packing bags into the back of a car by German publication Bild.

It has fuelled speculation Blaugrana will sign the Frenchman this summer, with the Catalan club expected to offer over €100m to land the striker.

According to Marca, Dortmund are demanding at least €150m for the prodigy who exploded onto the Bundesliga scene last season following his initial development at Rennes.

And the Dembele photo, which was taken on Tuesday, has sparked new life into the proposed transfer deal – as if it needed it.

Barca have cash to burn on attacking talent following the world-record sale of Neymar and are under growing pressure to sign a big star, with the likes of Sergio Busquets voicing his disapproval at their activity.

As for Dembele, who recently missed a training session, it is thought he is trying to force a move away from the Westfalenstadion.
