Manchester United legends put on a fantastic display to beat their Barcelona counterparts 3-1 at the Camp Nou on Friday.

Goals from Jesper Blomqvist, Karel Poborsky and Dwight Yorke mean they now take a handy lead to Old Trafford where the return leg will be played on September 2.

While the Barcelona legends including Brazilian stars Ronaldinho and Rivaldo did create some magical moments on the field, a few nutmegs and rabonas, they were unable to find the net, until Frederic Dehu pulled a goal back in the last minute.

The money generated from the game was directed towards PCCB (Pediatric Cancer Centre Barcelona). The second leg will raise money for Manchester United Foundation’s work.
