Liverpool are set to offload winger Oussama Assaidi to Dubai-based Al-Ahli for £4.75million (Dhs 26 million) according to British newspaper the Liverpool Echo.

The Moroccan international has been recalled from a loan at Stoke City in order to sanction the move to UAE.

Liverpool will make a substantial profit from the deal after they paid Dutch club Heerenveen £2.4million for the winger in 2012.

Assaidi struggled for game time at Anfield after making just six starts and six substitute appearances during his first season at the club.

He spent the whole of the 2013/14 season on loan at Stoke and he returned there on the final day of last summer's transfer window.

Assaidi's opportunities have been limited under Mark Hughes this term and Al-Ahli's approach suits all parties.
