UAE international Habib Fardan has moved closer to a move away from Al Nasr after being left out of the club's 28-man training camp in Germany.

Nasr are believed to have received offers from more than one Arabian Gulf League club, with Al Jazira and Al Ain believed to be front runners for the star's signature.

Al Jazira seem to be in pole position to sign Fardan and have reportedbly tabled an offer of Dh40m for his services and are willing to give the player more than Dh10m a season.

Fardan keeping his options open

The club took to Twitter, however, to deny that any agreement had been finalised but that they were in talks with clubs over Fardan's sale.

Nasr's official account, tweeted: "Al Nasr notes that it has received more than one offer for Habib Fardan and the club is in the process of studying them. We have not settled on any offer so far.”

Jazira have long held an interest in the 23-year-old, having made their first failed bid for the midfielder last season.

The capital club then returned with another offer at the start of the summer, which was once again rebuffed by Nasr.

With just one year left on his current contract and a substantial figure on the table, it seems that Nasr's position has softened at the prospect of losing their star asset for free at the end of the season.
