Al Nasr have signed Macedonian winger Ivan Trickovski on a two-year contract.

The Blue Wave confirmed the capture of the 27-year-old on their Twitter page late last night.

“Al Nasr officially announces a contract with Macedonian player Ivan Trickovski from Club Brugge for two years,” a post on their official account read.

Macedonia international, Trickovski, arrives in Dubai from Belgium having joined Brugge two years ago before a loan spell at Waasland-Beveren.

Elsewhere, Luis Garcia will be given time to assess potential signings at Bani Yas – although the club have already identified several targets as they look to add three foreigners.

Chilean striker Carlos Munoz is the only overseas player retained by Al Samawi as they begin life under new coach Garcia, who will get his first glimpse of his new squad tonight as they take on Bahrain’s Al Hadd in a friendly.

Bani Yas first team manager, Mohammed Aida, said: “Our technical committee, management and the coach are looking for suitable players. We have already identified some of them, he (Garcia) said he needs some time (to assess them) along with the technical committee but I think it should be very soon we announce the players we need.”

Meanwhile, former Al Ain star Jorge Valdivia appears to be edging ever closer towards a move to ambitious Arabian Gulf League newcomers, Fujairah.

The Chilean World Cup star missed training with his Brazilian employers Palmeiras on Monday with the Sao Paulo club confirming he was in talks with an “Arab club”.
