  • Done deal: Stoch has joined Al Ain on a season-long loan.

President's Cup champions Al Ain have announced the signing of Fenerbahce winger Miroslav Stoch on a one-year loan deal.

"Al Ain have agreed a contract with Slovakia midfielder Miroslav Stoch for one season on loan," Al Ain confirmed on their official Twitter account. "Full details will be revealed soon."

Stoch has spent four years at Turkish club Fenerbahce, although the 24-year-old spent last season on-loan at Greek club PAOK.

The Slovakia international, who has earned over 40 caps for his country, will be known to Chelsea fans for the two years he spent at the Premier League club. While being a highly-rated youngster, Stoch failed to establish himself in the first team and moved to Fenerbahce in 2010.

Stoch's arrival would suggest he has taken the squad place of Australian forward Alex Brosque, who after 18 months in the Garden City, left to return to Sydney FC last month.

The signing of Stoch will surely cast doubt over the future of French forward Jires Kembo-Ekoko, who was deemed surplus to requirements last season and sent on-loan to Qatari club El Jaish.
